For the past five years Theatre Modo has worked with primary school groups, secondary schools and young people to create parade performances for the Celtic Connections Festival Torchlit Procession in Glasgow. Led by the Lord Provost the parade starts at George Square and processes up to the Glasgow Concert Halls. The groups have worked on arts projects, created flag routines, learned to stilt walk and created short performances for the finale.
"Theatre Modo are a pleasure to work with. They are full of great creative ideas and are so supportive of the Celtic Connections Torchlight Procession and the kids love working with them. Pulling the procession together would be a great deal more work and stressĀ if its wasn't for these guys." Festival Coordinator
"Our participation was an exciting and uplifiting experience and we look forward to collaborating in future ventures. Thank you for your enthusiasm and your commitment."
