Title

Macpherson's Rant was commissioned by Banff Community Learning and Development. For 5 weeks Theatre Modo worked with over 250 young people in school and youth groups working on circus, theatre, dance, stilt walking and fire performance to bring to life the story of the famous local freebooter and gypsy who was hung in Banff in 1700. The show paraded through the town before culminated in a fiery finale in the Castle Grounds.

"Theatre Modo were professional, inspirational and brilliant. They brought a level of skill, expertise and commitment to Banff never experienced before. Their collective input was stunning, and true to form, they have left a legacy for all to remember. The young people and adults involved enjoyed the process of learning new skills as much as the extraordinary end result." Senior CLD Worker

"I had hairs on the back of my neck. This was the first time I felt I was part of a community seeing hundred of youngsters excited and alive - I felt proud of my town." Group leader
